It is sad the role model are not Einstein, Fleming, Surgeons, Nurses, people who really matter when there is suffering and disaster.

I am concerned that your comment means parents don't matter, as they most certainly do, much more that people from the past. Our parents nurture us and are part of who we are and should be our role models. People in history are important but parents should come before them, who is our role model is personal and it should be someone we are close to and admire.

I am proud that my parents are my role models, they are hard working and honest and have been together over 50 years.
