Mummy Bloggers' Friday roundup

Categories: Fun & activities, Places to go / holidays, Best of the Blogs

It was harder than usual to find posts for this week's roundup - I clicked on lots of (normally busy) blogs, to find nothing but tumbleweed. Anyone would think it was holiday season. Or maybe everyone has run away to BlogHer.

What's it going to be like finding fresh posts in the middle of August? I have no idea, I'm off on my hols.

This week ParentDish did a streak across the blogosphere, closely followed by Have a Lovely Time, waggling its bum at the seaside , which stoked up quite a debate. Nude or rude, what do you think?

Holiday time doesn't stop some brave souls from tapping away, especially Claire at Being a Mummy, who had what sounds like the day from hell, encompassing swanky beds, a trip to A & E and Roary the Racing Car.

Potty Mummy is managing to combine producing The Potty Diaries with travelling, though her holiday reading choices sometimes leave her feeling dissatisfied. And award-winning Travels With My Baby finds that a day-trip, like much of life with children, is all one big science project.

Thank goodness for Peggy at Perfectly Happy Mum who's created a fantastic solution to the blogger's dilemma of what to post when there's not much going on - the Friday cheesy song. Look out kids, I feel a desk disco coming on...
