Crikey, it's gone chilly this week hasn't it? Luckily an overheating keyboard is keeping the icicles off my fingers. Thank goodness for the ParentDish weekly parenting blog roundup. It's the only thing that's stopping me from seizing up completely.

Here on ParentDish, our pregnancy at work toolkit was a popular post all week, though some of you felt that it needed more references to non-office jobs. Think you can do better? Leave a comment and let us know. Many of you left a comment of good wishes to Wayne, Coleen and baby Kai. And some were not so polite. You can't please 'em all.

You may have read Gaby Hinsliff's feature in The Observer at the weekend about why she resigned from her post as the paper's political editor to spend more time with her family. But did you know that she has also joined the Divine Sisterhood of Mummy Bloggers? Gaby's now at Used to be Somebody, where she's finding that combining freelancing with parenting is potentially more hectic than a proper job. Welcome to my world Gaby.

It's like several jobs crashing into one another at once, but the perks are better. And if you go for that breadmaker, I recommend this one.

This week, Tara at Sticky Fingers confessed that becoming a mother hasn't necessarily made her a better person. The comments on this one were overwhelmingly supportive, but I get the feeling that changes are afoot in SF central. It'll be interesting to see where this life story goes next.

Is There a Plan B? reached an important milestone in the life of her twins this week. Plus she managed to blog with a sick child at home, something I have never been able to do, but then I am clearly much more rubbish than Plan B. Also suffering from separation anxiety is Insomniac Mummy, who's gearing up to take those wobbly first steps towards nursery. Just breathe, you gave birth so you can get through anything.

As ever, leave a comment below if you'd like to see your blog featured here, or you just need an excuse to keep your fingers moving and stop your limbs from seizing up in the cold.
