Mummy Bloggers' Friday Roundup

Categories: Just for dads, Just for mums, Fun & activities, Best of the Blogs

There's only one word to describe this week in ParentBlogLand: Busy. Honestly, you lot have been up to all sorts. Last night I went to see Peter Pan at Brighton Theatre Royal for the Great Panto Review. Best line of the night was "Mothers are notoriously clever", which you only have to look at the blogs to realise is absolutely true.

And it's my birthday today - another year and more stuff to sulk about. I think The Little Things was talking to me when she said Cheer Up Grumpy. Oi, who are you calling Grumpy? Bashful and Sleepy would be more apt.

Chantelle at Fat Mum Slim has been cooking something yummy from Masterchef, which obviously has zero calories as it's too fancy for that. (Them's the rules, right? Zero calories = children's leftovers, gifts and fancy stuff).

Parklover has been out gathering some great ideas for Christmas gifts that keep on giving, whilst My Shitty Twenties has just returned from the most amazing sounding writing course. Though there was no wi-fi - my dear ST, how on earth did you cope?

It's been a while since we've featured a dadblog on the Friday roundup, so let's give a non gender-specific hug to Like Father Like Daughter, who's reached the vital developmental step of turfing baby out into her own room.

And here on ParentDish, commenters have been exercised by a deeply important topic of national welfare - what's the deal with those GoGo Hamsters?

Not many more sleeps till Christmas now, but if you'd like to bypass the festivities and head straight into New year, watch out for the January issue of Red magazine - it's in the shops now and features many of our favourite mummy bloggers. Notoriously clever, every one.
