Mummy Bloggers' Snowy Roundup
Categories: Fun & activities, Best of the Blogs

Welcome to the first of our weekly roundups of the UK parent blogging scene for 2010. If you missed it (where have you been?), the roundup of the best of 2009 is here.
This week, the mummy bloggers, along with much of the rest of the country, have been all snowed in. But a little bad weather never put a good blogger down.
Cathy at NurtureStore offers us 10 ways to educate your offspring via the medium of snow. Read this and it won't matter if the schools don't re-open.
Happiness and All That reports from the North West with some lovely pictures showing her 10 out of 10 day, spent playing in the snow.
But Safia Farr is made of tougher stuff than most, and reckons that we give up too easily when it comes to snow and should persevere through adversity. A Mum's Survival Guide would love the chance to do just that, but alas she is the only mummy blogger left in the UK without any snow. She is snowless, bereft and pouting about it. Don't worry, I think I have your portion outside my front door so will be sure to send you a snowball in the post. We've got plenty to spare.
Big story of the week here on ParentDish has been the suggestion that breastfeeding might not be as beneficial as first thought. It's A Mummy's Life also found that this story touched a nerve with her. I'm quite glad not to be breastfeeding in this weather... chilly!
If your New Year's Resolution is to get your blog noticed more, leave a comment below and tell us about it, and you could be included in a future Friday roundup.
