Now it's time to hunt down a children's bed. When kids outgrow their cots, buying a bed can seem like a pretty fun activity.

This is especially true considering the number of fun and novelty beds now available. The Jersey Kids Heart Bed on the right is from Furniture 123 (£129.98). The pink, heart adorned, frame caught my eye, and I think the girly yet subtle theme will be suitable for a little girl for quite a few years.
