Mummy bloggers' Friday roundup

Categories: Best of the Blogs

Welcome to the weekly roundup of all that's good in the UK parenting blog scene. Though to be honest, many bloggers seem to have taken the week off, as several blogs I looked at hadn't been updated for weeks. Come on people, get posting – this roundup won't write itself y'know. And then let me know about your lovely blog in the comments box below.

This week on ParentDish, commenters were horrified by the tale of one mum who forced her son to kill his own pet hamster – just because he got a bad school report. And we talked to Sinitta about how she handles life as a working mum (with a little help from Simon Cowell).

21st Century Mummy has bravely revealed the contents of her handbag, which, in true mummy style, ranges from posh stationery to half a breadstick. 21stCM, have you pinched my handbag? Teawithonesugarplease has even spotted women with two handbags. Maybe the extra one is for the breadsticks, who knows?

In a bun dance is also in a revelatory mood this week, as she lists all the things she's worrying about. Step away from the worry sister, it won't change anything and will make you pout.

Also, check out Natural Mummy who's started the year on a decluttering mission, and has just done a toy cull. Very inspirational.

And finally, some cheering news from Lavenderhouse, who has spotted the first signs of Spring on its way. Thank goodness for that.
