Hello and welcome to the weekly roundup of the best of the UK's parent blogging scene. You can tell that the kids have gone back to school this week, as parent bloggers have been abuzz with activity.
This week mummy blogging was featured in The Sun newspaper, in a fine piece from Liz of Living With Kids. Some of the top blogs also popped up in an article in The Sunday Times.
This week on ParentDish, we've been on the naughty step discussing whether we're in favour of smacking or not. People really get angry about this one. Turns out the pro-smackers aren't the world's most chilled out people. Funny that.
Like Father, Like Daughter reached a milestone this week with the introduction of solid food. Give it a few years and you'll be buying that baby her first beer. Speaking of buying stuff, Notes from Lapland found something very strange down at the supermarket.
A big cheer for Baby Baby, who's appealing for good manners all round. But there's no polite way to say it, Super Single Mum is having problems with pants – can anyone help?
Meanwhile, daddy blogger Lemon Drizzle has been hard at work on a project of his own. And Dad Who Writes was moved to (manly) tears by rediscovering an old hobby.
