I'm always on the hunt for homegrown talent who have a passion for creating products for mothers and children. This time it's the turn of UK-based illustrator turned children's clothing designer Belle & Boo.
The designs started out as framed prints sold on creative marketplace Etsy, but its popularity has recently led to the illustrations making the jump from paper to the fabric of dresses, tops and full outfit collections.
The original illustrations are inspired by nostalgic memories, and they're not dissimilar to the famous drawings of Peter Rabbit.
The pretty twill dress on the right is one of the stand out pieces of the range. The pinafore dress is available for children aged 6 months to 4 years, and prices start at £36.
The girls' range (there's currently no boys' range) isn't all florals and pinks. This Spring set of knickerbockers and blouse has plenty of pockets to stuff full of summer blackberries and seaside shells.
The shorts start at £20, and the blouse starts at £27. With fans like Jools Oliver and Claudia Schiffer, the range is likely to gather a strong celebrity following.
What do you think of Belle & Boo's new clothing range?
