I've had some products from the Organic Babies range from Green People that I've been trying out for a couple weeks.

Green People's Organic Babies range uses only natural ingredients which are suitable for the delicate of skins including babies (or even parents) with skin irritations such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. They never use Sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate, Parabens, Lanolin, Propylene glycol, Synthetic fragrances, Petrochemicals and Phthalates in any of their products.

The Lavender Baby Wash and Shampoo (£6.95 150ml) can be used either as a bubble bath by squeezing a tiny bit under the running water in the bath or as a wash by using it on a flannel or as a shampoo.

Lavender is my very favourite smell ever, so I may be biased, but this smells absolutely delicious. It has a delicate, natural smell of lavender and doesn't overpower you like lavender oil can do. Along with using this in my son's baths, I have to admit that I used some of this in my own bath, as well. It was delightful.

The only downside may be that it doesn't produce many bubbles and the ones that are produced don't last long. My son isn't old enough to understand or want bubbles, so it isn't an issue for us. If your child is older and has a "thing" about bubbles, they may not appreciate this as much as you will!

The Nappy Cream Baby Balm (£9.25 40ml) is for use both in the nappy area and anywhere else you may have dry skin. It contains Zinc Oxide- widely used in nappy rashes- and Omega 3&6 oils which help to protect against dampness. It's scented with Roman Chamomile Oil and, again, smells "natural" as opposed to "chemical-y".

I've been using this only during my son's final nappy change before bedtime to protect him during the night. He doesn't tend to have a problem with nappy rash, but his skin can go a bit red in the creases overnight. So far, he's not had any problems. It's a lot easier to smooth on than my normal nappy cream therefore I need to use less of it to cover the whole area. Also, it smells considerably nicer.

The first thing I'd say about the No Scent Children's Sun Lotion SPF25 (£14.75 150ml) is that it's expensive. But then neither I nor my kids suffer from sensitive skin, so I've always been able to buy "normal" sun lotions. If my child had extremely delicate skin, this may be the sun lotion to try.

Unlike the "normal" sun lotions I have, this has no strong, chemical smell. If the smell of sun lotion irritates you or your kids, again, this may be the thing to try.It is naturally water-resistant and offers broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and includes Aloe Vera, Edelweiss and Elderflower for loveliness.

Admittedly, it's not been too sunny since I got this so have only had a couple chances to use it. The first thing I noticed about it was that it wasn't greasy at all and it's very easy to rub in. Those two things make getting your squirming little one covered in sun lotion considerably easier.

I've been wearing it, too. I tend to wear high SPF sun lotion throughout the year. Often the high SPF lotions make your skin a bit white. As this is so easy to rub in, I've not had to walk around with a ghost-face.

The very, very coolest thing about Green People is that they have trial sizes of their products which means you can get a sample of the product for a small amount of money to see if it's right for you before committing to the full price.
