Mummy Bloggers: They're all going MAD
Filed under: Best of the Blogs, Latest news

This week you couldn't move for excited blog-giggles (bliggles??), as the UK's top mum and dad bloggers prepare to gather for next Monday's MAD Awards ceremony at Butlins in Bognor Regis. Our favourite imaginary friends from the internet will be showing up in person to show that yes, they do exist, and they've come to win an award.
These days, wherever there's a mummy blogger, there's also a PR keen to use them to plug their wares. And this will be very much in evidence at the MADS, as some bloggers are arriving in sponsored cars, and wearing sponsored dresses. But hats off to the enterprising bloggers who've even managed to get their knickers sponsored (yes I am looking at you 20somethingmum).
I will be there too, presenting an award, so check back on ParentDish next week for all the news and gossip from the event. I am not being sponsored - I've had a sticker on my butt for the last fortnight saying 'This Space For Hire' but no takers yet.
In the news, busiest story this week on ParentDish was the heartbreaking tale of the mum who had to choose which child to save.
Also this week we were green with envy at Battling On and her new celebrity boyfriend. Womb for Improvement had an incident with the KY Jelly. Confessions of a Bad Mother had the shopping trip from hell and Geek Mummy is spreading a little geek love.
Finally, did you see the Mummy Bloggers from the Save the Children Blogladesh trip on the ITV news? You can see them again here. Somebody should give those guys an award.
