So this week in the life of the UK's parent bloggers has been dominated by one event, as over 50 mum and dad bloggers headed to Butlins for the MAD Awards ceremony.
As you can imagine, LOTS of shenanigans ensued, so much so that we're going to dedicate a whole post to it, so watch out for that coming soon on these pages (or at least as soon as everyone involved has recovered).
One lovely highlight for me was to meet in person many of the bloggers who've been featured in this weekly roundup. They said being picked for this roundup has meant a lot to them, and resulted in lots of traffic to their lovely blogs. So do continue to check these pages every Friday for a snapshot of what the best of the UK parent bloggers are up to, and tell us about your blog if you'd like to se it here.
Meanwhile, what have the parent bloggers who didn't go to the seaside been getting up to this week?
Well funnily enough sceneofthecrime has also won an award .. er .. sort of.
Got Your Hands Full hosted a carnival of blog posts from mums talking about mental health - this really seemed to hit a nerve and was retweeted over 70 times. A great example of the kind of honest, sharing, supportive effort that blogs do best.
Northern Mummy With Southern Children has a lovely answer to the question: Mummy, will you always wee yourself now? Mummy Musings is going backwards, and here on ParentDish we welcomed a new little Buddy for Jamie Oliver.
And finally some food for thought - Grit's Day wrote a challenging post about what the future might hold for mummy blogging in the UK - what do you think?
Don't forget there's a special blog badge for everyone featured in our weekly roundup. To get yours you can either (a) think happy thoughts (b) write a letter to Santa or (c) drop us a line here. The choice is yours
