Mummy Bloggers: Not Waving But Blogging
Filed under: Best of the Blogs

It's Friday, so it must be time for our regular peek at what the UK's parent bloggers have been up to. I hid the key to the gin cupboard so hopefully not so much mischief this week.
If you love your blogs like we do, you'll be excited to see the latest Tots 100 index of parent bloggers - lots of movement on the list this month, and a brand new number one. Congratulations to ParentDish writer Ian at Single Parent Dad, who's now officially Top of the Pops.
So to celebrate, let's have a party - and on Tuesday 12th October from 1-2pm there's due to be a bloggers' twitter party - use the hashtag #savvyhalfterm to join in and possibly win a prize. You can find out more about the whole shebang on the British Mummy Bloggers site here.
Elsewhere, The Coffee Lady has got some clever strategies for reluctant readers. Typecast questions our assumptions about what is and is not fat. Not fat but pregnant, The Bumps Along The Way wonders if she's spoiling her baby. Surely that's not possible if it hasn't been born yet?
Mary Poppins was awash with pretties, whilst ParentDish was stepping out with the stars - though really it was the stars' kids we were spotting.
Very well done to Non-neurotypical Nipper - the cutest superstar I ever did see.
And kudos also to Cocktails at Naptime, who has an unusual connection with Princess Diana. We're all stars this week.
Blogs featured in our weekly roundup win the badge that some are calling 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!' Try saying that with your second best teeth in. To claim your badge, drop us a line here.
