Mummy Bloggers: Beauty and the Blog
Filed under: Best of the Blogs

Hello and welcome to our regular weekly roundup of the best of the UK's mum and dad bloggers. We're open for business and picking your finest posts every Friday.
Bloggers, we have a spoof in the building. At least I hope it's a spoof. Say hello to Quavers for Breakfast, who has launched her blog with a review of gravy. Brace your pelvic floor, this'll make you chuckle.
And we've been glued to the news of that magical rescue for the last few days, too busy to blog; though Family Affairs did manage a brief Yippee, and Me, The Man and the Baby hailed the fairytale ending.
Meanwhile Tales from the Village is feeling very Autumnal and Curly & Candid is questioning her sanity. I think if you have to ask then you probably haven't got it. But much like a bra or an orthodontic brace, it's very liberating to be without.
Here on ParentDish, hundreds of commenters were riled by the MP who says - if you can't afford to have children, you shouldn't have them at all. But then who would I pinch chocolate from?
Sturm Und Drang feels let down by poor service. Jenography is going shopping too - Mr Jenography will have hours of fun with this. Random Thoughts from a Random Woman finds that self service is worse.
Ready for Ten's Linda wonders if she should start frightening the neighbours this Halloween. Yes of course you should. Roaming the streets gathering sweets is the highlight of my year. Sometimes I even let the kids join in.
To mark your entry into this blog roundup, you get a super duper blog badge. Less spooky than Halloween and won't rot your teeth (unless you are doing something seriously odd with it. Drop us a line here and we'll issue your gadge forthwith.
