Mummy bloggers: And now the end is near
Filed under: Best of the Blogs, Video

OK friends, time to pull up your chairs and prepare yourself - I've got some bad news. Sadly this is the last of our weekly parent blogger roundups. We've had good times, we've had bad times, we've had posts about an enormous poo. But like childhood, all good things must come to an end.
All the previous blog roundups will still be here, so dry your tears on those. Don't forget that there's a fine and dandy blog badge for anyone who's been featured in the roundup, so if you forgot to claim yours, you can still get it by dropping us a line here.
So where to go now if you are looking for your fix of all things mummy blogger? The parent blogging scene has expanded so much over the last year, you've got quite a choice. Start with the British Mummy Bloggers Group, which is here. They also have a blog (they would, wouldn't they?).
Then move on to the vibrant discussion forum at Blogger Ed.
The Cybermummy conference is on its way - early bird tickets are available till the end of the year. Last year's conference sold out, so don't hang around if you're thinking of going.
Also on its way is the second Mad Awards for mum and dad bloggers. Keep your eye on the website for details on that as they're released. Last year's awards saw tears, controversy and people making rude shapes out of balloons, and I'm sure this year's will be no different.
And in the absence of a Doctor Who-style regeneration, that is where I must leave you. But not before we enjoy this interview with Susanna Scott of A Modern Mother. You will know Susanna as a leading light amongst parent bloggers. This week she was interviewed by Technorati editor Akemi Bourgeois, and talks about where mummy blogging in the UK is going from here.
But before we go, there's just time for the video that was too scary to show before - the one with the naked mummy bloggers. Who do you recognise in the flesh?
