Pregnant WAG Abbey Clancy has told a magazine that allegations over her boyfriend's fidelity made her fear for the safety of her unborn child.
Speaking to Glamour magazine, 24-year-old Abbey, whose baby is due in March, said that Peter Crouch's reported affair made her feel stressed and vulnerable.
She said: 'I worried about stress affecting the baby. I'm a hypochondriac anyway.'
'I don't like feeling vulnerable. I think my mum and dad's divorce affected me more than I let on.'
The model-turned-TV-presenter also admitted she did not like appearing 'weak' or crying in front of anyone, even her own mum: 'I don't like being weak in front of my mum or anyone for that matter. I don't like crying.'
Abbey said she and Crouch like to keep their private life 'private' and revealed she has not spoken to anyone throughout all the 'sh*t'.
She said the couple are now 'fine' and looking forward to their baby's arrival, adding: 'There are worse things that have happened.'
Abbey also revealed how she met the Tottenham striker, saying: 'I fancied him from afar. I worked in The Living Room in Liverpool. Peter had scored that day and I just went over and said, "I knew you'd score". Obviously after that he begged me for my number! That was it.'
