I haven't got a girlfriend. I'm not ready for all that stuff yet. I am only six and a bit. But I really like Susan Holmes. She likes me as well. I know that for sure because she sent me a Valentine's Day card. She didn't sign it, because it's against the law to put your name on Valentines Cards, but I know it's from her because she started to write and then crossed it out. Like this: Sus

Yesterday I called her "Darling" because that's what daddy calls mummy and he loves her a lot. Everybody laughed
though. I didn't say it again.

Susan holds my hand sometimes and yesterday she pushed me on the swing. You only push someone on the swing if you love them. So she definitely loves me.

We're not getting married though. We are too young at the moment. Even though Susan is older than me. Maybe when we are 11 or 12. But we have to be very sure. You have to live with that person for the rest of your life and that is a long long time. So you have to have a really close look at the person because they won't look like that when they are really old, like 55. Also you need to know if they are clean.

Anyway, I'm going to ask mummy if we can go on a date.

I have two other girlfriends too but I'm not telling Susan about them.
