Dad BUYS school for daughter after closure threats

When three-year-old Olivia Hill's private school came under threat of closure, her doting dad went one step further than fund raising or campaigning to ensure its future. He bought it.

Matt Hill, 38, and a business partner stumped up £1million to ensure The Mill School in Potterne, Wiltshire remained open.

The staff and 65 pupils at the £7,500-a-year school will all stay on, and Matt and his business partner will move their training firm into the building.
The doting dad of two said: 'When me and my wife first visited the school we fell in love with it. When we learnt about the closure we started racking our brains.'

Sylvia Parry, the school's deputy head, said her class cheered when she told them they would not be closing down.
