Simon, who is engaged to Mezhgan Hussainy, told GQ magazine he doesn't think his lifestyle and busy schedule could handle a baby:
'The reality is, with the way I live my life, I wouldn't have the patience. I'd sort of want people born at the age of ten, I think.
'Truthfully, with the schedule, the crazy hours, I don't think it would work.'
The admission from Mr X Factor comes after he told Oprah Winfrey he thinks he's far too old at the age of 52 to be a dad.
' I worry about that - because of my age. When I was younger my dad used to play soccer and games with me, and I worry that if I was 70 I won't be able to do that,' he said.
Hmm, do we think Simon's protesting a little too much? Reckon he's a teeny, tiny bit broody like these doting dads?
