Chantelle Houghton and Alex Reid in IVF baby joy

Just seven months into their relationship, and just weeks after tearfully giving an interview to a mag about her fertility problems, reality TV star Chantelle Houghton and Alex Reid have announced they are trying for an IVF baby.
Speaking to OK! magazine, the couple revealed they have started the first steps towards assisted pregnancy.
Despite it being such early days in their relationship, cage-fighter Alex is adamant that he is not rushing into fatherhood, saying:
'I've thought about this long and hard and it's what I really want. It's not a decision you normally make with someone you've only known for seven months, but everything feels so right.'
Chantelle says her treatment so far has consisted of 'lots of scans and horrible, painful things done to me,' but has had Alex by her side throughout.
Alex is no stranger to IVF, having gone through it with his ex-wife Katie Price, who subsequently said it was a blessing they were not successful.
Alex says he feels the same way, but has no regrets about his marriage to Katie, saying:
'I have to thank Katie because if I hadn't met her, I wouldn't have met Chantelle. All of those events, however bad, brought me here. Spending that time with Katie helped me realise what an amazing person Chantelle is.'
The couple, who say they are in no rush to get married, are confident their IVF attempts will prove successful: 'We need to stay positive', Alex says, whilst Chantelle confesses they've already picked out their baby names...

- Jessica Alba<p> Here’s Jess flaunting her fabulous seven-month bump in a strapless number (but with handy sarong to keep eyes off her no-doubt expanding bottom). She was on the sand with daughter Honor, three.<br /> <br /> <strong>Jessica says:</strong> ‘I can't ever get down to the weight I was before I had Honor/ My body's just different. The jeans just sort of zip up differently, and things hang differently. It's a miracle what happens, but you definitely are different afterward.’</p>

The mum-to-be tweeted while she was on her hols saying she was having a lovely time, but felt like a whale! Well, she certainly looks good on it…</p>
