The shortlist for the coverted Celebrity Mum of the Year Award has been announced, and it's fair to say we scratched our heads at a fair few of the nominations.

Reality 'stars' and celebs who are known more for their complicated family set-ups than their lives as mums (Natasha Giggs, we're looking at you) make up the majority of the list, while mum-to-be Peaches Geldof is a surprising choice considering she hasn't actually demonstrated her parenting skills yet...

You'll be pleased to know Katie Price makes her annual appearance though.

The shortlist has been compiled by nominations from the public, and the winner - also voted for by the public - will be announced just in time for Mother's Day (18th March).
