Boy, 6, raises $10,000 from lemonade stand to help sick dad

Little Drew Cox has given new meaning to the phrase 'when life throws you lemons' - he's raised bumper amounts of cash for his dad who is fighting cancer...by setting up his own lemonade stall!
Six-year-old Drew from Texas, set up his lemonade stand to help his family with medical bills when his dad was diagnosed with a rare cancer.
The stand was pretty popular to say the least, and the little lad raised a whopping $10,000 (around £6,300) in one day from selling the drink, with some customers driving over an hour to get their hands on a glass!

Triumph over tragedy

To think that she has prosthetic legs yet plays football for her school is just remarkable.”</p>
