10-year-old boy headbutted teacher and shattered second teacher's leg with a kick : 'He's not a bad kid' claims mum

You start a teaching career with the intention of making a difference and passing what you have learned to others. I would challenge anyone to spend a month in any one of the inner city hell hole schools, where you have to teach and control, vile mouthed, violent, to each other and the teacher and often drugged up students who are members of criminal gangs, on an hourly basis. Whilst walking through this minefield you have to attempt to get these students to achieve, attend classes, do all the relevant paperwork, lesson planning and creative learning. To try to make the students valuable members of society rather than ending up on the scrap heap of society and a burden to us tax payers. The pressure that most teachers have to suffer is utterly exhausting, you have to kiss good bye to your dignity and self esteem, basically until you experience the job yourself you are not qualified to make stupid derogatory comments. The mental pressure of going to work every day to pay the mortgage and knowing that your life and health can be destroyed by a student at any point in that day and that you stand completely alone because your manager is not going to help you. You have the union if you’re a member and they are good, but on the whole the sheer mental pressure is enough to make you crack up, that is why teaching is one of the professions with the highest suicide rate, I've done some tough jobs in my time Farmer, Builder, S.F.Soldier, teaching is by far the toughest career, I feel sorry for these teachers having to endure this, blaming the parents is a waste of time, the kid will probably go home and beat his mum and dad up, that is if they are not off their faces on drugs, or ring social services or the police and say he's being abused, then they will be put into care, (dont get me started on hostels and flats, errm drug dens and stolen goods lock ups) if society wants to solve the problem it needs to look to the past, I hate to say this as I'm in my late 30's but the solution to this problems lies in the past not in the future this meeds to be done before we have another lost generation. if you want to know how kids behave in school whatch Brat Camp on TV, very good examples.

wow that's terrible, the boy is 10 old enough to understand right and wrong. His mother needs a reality check before her son gets worse. I hope the teachers are ok and get better soon.

All females should have their eggs removed at birth, then have to prove that they are capable of rearing their young before being allowed to breed when they reach a child bearing age.

And you wonder why a Teacher makes up a Fantasy story saying he killed a girl to get a day off work .
Maybe it was wishful thinking . ;)

Bring back hanging, if not DEFINiTELY CASTRATE the boy so he cannot put his genes in the pool
(make sure his mum cannot breed anymore monsters too)

The problem here is this little ba***rd will continue to do this, and when he turns 18 he'll be able to do a hell of lot more damage than a shattered leg and broken nose. he'll end up killing someone innocent, if it was a dog it would be put down

I`m really hoping that the teachers involved are able to get compensation. NOT from the school authorities, who in my experience in HR and Occupational Health & Safety did not breach any current workplace safety laws but from the mother of this little thug. Maybe when her pocket is hit she might change her attitude. If this was America she would be facing loosing her house and all personal property.
