Couple sparked police search after inventing missing three-year-old daughter

i cannot belive some people would go to that lenghts just to get a free ride home whot if thier was a real missing child all the time was spent on these two idots a way on hols partying getting drunk iam so glad that they dont have kids them selfs i think they should be put in jail throw way the key or maybe name and shame them by asking them to donate money to the rescue service like the resused helicopters the police force and donate money to other emergancy servies its unbeliveable idots fancy thinking up a dumb make up story i carnt belive the police didnt smell the strong alchol on thier breaths ive seen storys on the news about missing kids and childern geting swapt away out to sea never to come back againe so sad for parents losing child and then reading this story about a made up story about a missing kid not on and thoes two should be stoned to death or wiped like they do in other countrys well its like the boy who cryed wolf so many times no one will listen to them when a real story is been told by them and the ermengency wount litsen to them so eny moor idots that are out thier pleased dont copy this story making it up about a missing child just think frist be for calling them out when the services arnt needed

No they'll probably put in a claim for the stress of it all and the judge will say oh poor loves it must be true lets pay them loads of money to compensate and for good measure we will give them Disability benefit, I also think we should rehouse them as they may be alcoholics and ssoo vunerable.
They land on my desk everyday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cos we never warned them it could be stressful to call out the 999 folks,

someone else in reall trouble could have needed the emergency groups Shame on them

It amazes me the stupidity of some people,did they really think they could get away with it.What a waste of time and money on our resources

What stupid pathetic people...what if there had been a real problem and the time was watsted on these selfish people. I hope they have to pay the expence of the usage of helecopters ect ect and get a punishment. WHY, oh, why, can't they use common sense.

Unblievable and they should be locked up for their selfish and very stupid claim, I was a member of the Emergency Services and know only too well what hoaxes can cost financially and physically to the sometimes severely strecthed units, in fact make them pay for the search, that soon teach them....or will it?

This isnt about MONEY! It's about their irresponsible actions that could may well have caused loss of life. A prison sentence to set a presidence should have been their punishment, or if people like to think money is more important, add the total cost and make them repay it all.

Why oh why do people keep on using the phrase 'Tax payers money'? Is Money our new God? For every genuine emergency, there's gonna be at least one false one! Me personally, I'd rather pay for them all, & at least know we saved one life, regardless of the money!!
