Imogen Thomas talks about her baby scare after hospital dashes

Pregnant Imogen Thomas has told a magazine that she was 'hysterical' and in fear that she was losing her baby when she 'filled three pads with blood' last week.

She raced to A&E twice in 24 hours convinced she was miscarrying.

Speaking to New! magazine, the reality TV star said that complications with her uterus had led to the bleeds.

"My first internal scan on Tuesday showed the baby was OK, thank God, but then I started bleeding again when I got home," she said. "Not being crude but I literally filled three pads with blood. I was hysterical. I kept thinking, 'this is it.'"

Imogen said she returned to hospital and underwent a second internal scan which showed her baby 'kicking away'."

At just 12 weeks pregnant (despite managing to sport quite a bump for her most recent pics) Imogen says she does not yet know whether she is expecting a boy or a girl, but refers to it as 'he' rather than 'it'.

Imogen also revealed that she fears she is going to 'balloon', explaining: "I have a tilted womb so there's a lot of pressure on it and that's why I'm big at three months. I'm worried I'm going to balloon like Jessica Simpson did."

She also said that her boyfriend of ten months Adam Horsley was in shock when she revealed she was pregnant:

She said: "I was shocked as well but I had a week to come to terms with it while I was in Spain. I wrapped up a little white hat along with a note that read, 'You're going to be the best daddy ever.' He just held it and cried. He's going to kill me for saying that.

"He's amazing with my nephew – and my cat. I know he will be a good dad".

Y-e-s, because cat care and baby care IS very similar, after all...
