Suri Cruise starts new school - and schoolmates' parents fear lookalike daughters will be hounded by paparazzi

It would seem that parents whose children attend what will be Suri's new school (an exclusive $40,000-a-year school in New York called Avenues which offers a 'global curriculum') are worried that THEIR children might be mistaken for her and hounded by the press...
Education Consultant Dana Haddad told The New York Post that she'd had 'two different parents call to tell me their children are beautiful young girls that look like Suri', and that when the girls were all in their informs, the other mums and dads were 'worried their daughters will be mistaken for Suri by the paparazzi outside the school.'
Wow. Obviously there are some safeguards other parents could take to prevent this happening: one, dress your child in a coat - then obviously she will not be Suri. Two, do not send her out in red lippy and painted nails - again, so not Suri. Three, dress her in flat school shoes - Suri will no doubt choose glittery dancing shoes with heels to jazz up HER school uniform. Four, avoid giving your child phallic shaped sweets to munch on in view of paparazzi - another Suri trait.
Really though - can parents REALLY be this obsessed about their little darlings that their fear their 'beautiful young girls' are going to be mistaken for Suri?
If your child was at school with the child of a famous parent, would this EVER cross your mind as something to worry about?
Suri Cruise: Her shoe style
- Party girl<p> Suri’s found a pair of real <a href="http://www.parentdish.co.uk/2011/04/06/suri-cruise-birthday-13-000-circus-party/" target="_blank">party</a> shoes in these fancy gold T-bar sandals, and, never one to not get value from her wardrobe, these made quite a few appearances before, naturally, Suri out grew them.</p>

- Out with the old, and in with the new<p> Ditching gold for silver, Suri squeezes her feet into another pair of heels for a day out. Looks like mum took the easy option of comfy flats for the pair’s walkabout though.</p>

- Heels on the beach<p> The little lady recently hit the <a href="http://www.parentdish.co.uk/2011/05/31/suri-cruise-steps-out-in-heels-on-the-beach/" target="_blank">beach </a>for a day with her mum, but forgot her flip flops! Instead she tackled the sand in these, gorgeous, but completely impractical, gold heels, complete with party dress, of course.</p>

- Suri in slippers<p> Ditching the heels, if only for one night only, Suri looks ready for bed in these fantastic pig slippers. Great to see her wearing something fun rather than so grown up. Didn’t fancy joining her, Katie?</p>

- Flower power<p> Never one to be a wall erm, flower, Suri turned heads when she stepped out a pair of floral slip-on heels, colour clashing brilliantly with a pink heart print dress and stylish mac.</p>

- Not a good look<p> Not as bad as socks and sandals, but these thick socks and dainty pumps don’t quite work, especially on such tiny tootsies. Lost your fashionista style already, Suri?</p>

- Comfort at last<p> Hurrah! Suri’s discovered comfort. Here she is, finally, in flat, comfy boots. Clearly she doesn’t want to get those booties dirty though, opting for a carry instead…</p>

- Ballerina beauty<p> Off to dance class? Nope, just a fancy tutu and ballet pump combo to battle the New York rain. Hey, at least she’s got a brolly, right?</p>

- Grrrrrrrreat choice!<p> Loving the leopard print on this pair, and there’s not a heel in sight!</p>

- Dad, I need you!<p> Looks like the stacked heels got a little too much for sleepy Suri. Luckily Tom’s on hand to scoop her, and her heels up for a carry.</p>
