Former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook shocked TV viewers by confessing to snorting cocaine DURING the birth of her son.

The actress broke down as she admitted she asked people to leave the delivery room while she was giving birth to Kai so she could snort the Class A drug.

Danniella – who famously admitted her addiction destroyed her septum between her nostrils - made the astonishing revelation on the Jeremy Kyle Show on ITV as she described the depths she sunk to while in the grips of her addiction to the drug 12 years ago.

She said 10 minutes after her son was born and while he was being cleaned, she took another line of the drug.

Now a born-again Christian, Danniella, 39, also admitted she used to steal money from her own husband to stay high.



And she revealed her toddler son had to watch her breakdown from a 'cocaine convulsion.'

"I was in a terrible state," she told the show's host.

"I had a cocaine convulsion and my three year old son was trying to put a Mars Bar in my mouth, trying to make me come round."

She said her husband Kevin Jenkins put her in rehab, in Arizona, after she became out of control.

"I stole from him, I was taking drugs," she said.

"I was three months pregnant and he just put me on a plane to Arizona, I was so drugged up I didn't know what was happening.

"The first two weeks I was a terrible person, but then I just thought 'I need to do this'."

She said that although she has been 'clean' for 12 years, she is now on 'a lot of medication'.
