Keeping it in the family: Plastic surgeon performs boob jobs on his own daughters
A pair of American sisters have taken the term 'Daddy's girls' to a whole new level. For Charm and Brittani Niccole's dad didn't just give his blessing when they wanted boob jobs – he performed the operations himself.
How sweet (not!). Or perhaps it actually makes sense? After all, who is more protective of a daughter than her own dad, especially if that dad is a top plastic surgeon?
Anyway, we're not here to judge, just to show and tell what goes on in other people's lives so that you can judge for yourself. Even so, we couldn't help but shift a little uncomfortably in our seats when we heard about the strange goings-on in the Niccole household.
For dad Michael has been, er, enhancing his daughters' appearances ever since they were 10 years old when Charm went under his knife to have her protruding belly button reshaped.
Now 25, her dad has now given his little princess breast augmentation to take her from a 32B to 32C. Sister Brittani first had breast surgery as an 18th birthday gift, when she went from an A cup to C. Then her dad narrowed the bridge of her nose for her 21st birthday present.
Weird? Not to the sisters. They are so pleased with the work they have had done that they are becoming walking advertisements of their dad's clinic and recommending it to pals.
Brittani said: "Some people say, 'Isn't it weird that your dad has seen your breasts?' and I say 'No'.
"I'm his daughter and he's seen me naked when I was a baby, so really who cares?
"And he sees about a billion boobs a year, so a boob to him is just an object like a pen. It's just what he does."
Charm agreed: "Having surgery done by my dad makes sense, he's the best at what he does and I know I'm in safe hands.
"Growing up where we do and seeing so many people having surgery, it never seemed like a big deal. Out here cosmetic surgery is a normal part of everyday life."
Dad Michael agreed, saying: "There are people that would critique me for doing a breast augmentation on my daughter at 18.
"But I've been doing surgery for 30 years and I wanted the best of care, which I can deliver. Nobody would treat my daughter the way I would.
"I felt very, very comfortable doing her surgery. And I would do it over again."
Unsurprisingly the sisters, who were adopted by Michael and wife Penny as babies, have attracted criticism about their decision to cosmetically alter their appearance.
However the girls, both 25, say they have valid reasons.
Brittani, a make-up artist, said: "I was totally flat-chested and I just wanted to feel more comfortable in my own skin. When I first told my parents I wanted my breasts done I was 15. I knew I had to wait until I was 18 to have them done but I was often nagging them about it.
"When I graduated high school Dad surprised me by saying, 'I've scheduled you in to have your boobs done next week'. I was so excited.
"It's the best thing I've done. I love my boobs, they're perfect."
However, the girls' mum Penny wasn't so thrilled with the pair's enthusiasm for a quick fix to their appearance.
She said: "When Brittani first told me she wanted to get implants I fought it for a long time.
"I said, 'No we're not doing this, this is not right'.
"But she was so insistent that eventually I said, 'OK, show me your breasts'.
"Then I could see why she wanted implants and realised it would be beneficial for her to get her breasts enlarged, so I agreed.
"Now I can see she's so much more confident and I think she looks great."
A few years later, Brittani had a nose job, and the sisters regularly have facial peels and Botox to reduce the chances of wrinkles.
Charm said: "Every other month I'll get something done to my skin. "I think Botox is important as it prevents you from getting wrinkles.
"I also get Botox in my armpits, which helps me stop sweating."
Now the sisters are constantly recommending impressed women to their dad's clinic - Cosmeticare Plastic Surgery Center And Med Spa.
Charm said: "Almost all of our friends have had procedures done by Dad, whether that's boob jobs, liposuction, Botox or skin peels.
"If there are ten people in a room, nine out of them will have had something done by my dad.
"It's a family business so I'm contributing, it's good."
Despite the critics, the sisters remain defiant.
Charm said: "Because of the criticism we have had for getting surgery done by our dad I realise people can be pretty ignorant and simple minded.
"People should understand that we got the procedures done because we didn't feel good about ourselves."
