Is Angelina Jolie turning her daughter into a boy?
Toddlers, Celeb kids, Celeb parenting, Baby & toddler clothes, Latest news
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been accused of turning their three-year-old daughter Shiloh into a boy.
She's been photographed dressed in boys' clothes and with a new short haircut.
To be honest it's a bit sad if the way a three-year-old is dressed sets off a major controversy. But it appears to have done.
An eyewitness told the press: "It's a drastic change. The last time we'd seen her, her hair was longer and blonder, and she was more girlie. We were surprised Angelina dressed her so much like a little boy."
Celebrity stylists have been rushing to comment on the little girl's fashion choices.
Alana Kelen, senior fashion stylist at VH1, told Life & Style: "Shiloh is pushing the boundaries of a tomboy look and crossing over to cross-dresser territory."
"Pushing the boundaries of a tomboy look"?? She's THREE.
Angelina denies Haiti adoption - but another baby is still on the cards
Babies, Celeb parenting, Rumours, Latest news
Hollywood supercouple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have denied rumours they were going to adopt a child from Haiti.
But they haven't ruled out adopting another child in the future.
Jolie, who is visiting earthquake victims in Haiti in her role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador, told CNN she was still open to expanding her "rainbow family".
She said: "I'm always open to children around the world. We're that kind of a family; Brad and I talk about that. But that's not what we're focusing on at this time, by any means.
"We're not here for that. We're here to see how we can help protect the children in country and scale up the needs here."
Madonna and Angelina's parenting attacked by teenage star
Disney star Miley Cyrus has hit out at the way Madonna and Angelina are parenting their broods – because they allow them to be photographed regularly. The 17-year-old who found fame as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel has obviously missed the irony of a former child star criticising the way other celebrities raise their children.
If it hadn't been for her parents putting her in front of the camera at the tender age of nine, it would be doubtful if Miley would have amassed the millions of dollars she has.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
Cheryl Cole is the top tip for celebrity pregnancy in 2010
The bookies are already setting their odds for celebrity babies, and Cheryl Cole has climbed to the top of their list of celebrities most likely to become a parent in 2010. Paddy Power are currently placing Ashley and Cheryl Cole at odds of 6/5 to become parents this year. Bets are also high on Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt extending their already large family this year, with odds of 6/1.
Rumours have been circulating for a couple of years that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are expecting a little brother or sister for stylish Suri, and the odds have now been slashed to 7/1 for a new arrival this year.
Finally, Paddy Power have given newlyweds Beyonce and Jay Z odds of 14/1 for parenthood this year.
They're not the only celebrities who are rumoured to be expecting this year.
Seal says four kids is enough...
Babies, Celeb parenting, Latest news
The singer Seal and his supermodel wife Heidi Klum have just had their fourth child, and that's enough, says the proud father.
"Four is definitely enough," Seal told Hello! magazine.
"I found myself thinking, before (Lou) was born: 'We've got three kids, how am I going to find any more love to give another kid?"
"Then, of course, she turned up and the first time I held her up in my arms at the hospital... I fell in love at that point."
It's good to know some celebrities know when to stop.
It must be quite tempting when you've got a virtually unlimited amount of money to just keep going - like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who have six kids and counting.
But however rich you are, children still only have two parents who have a limited amount of time.
Angelina Jolie could be adopting a seventh child and Rod Stewart says he's ready for an eighth
Babies, Celeb kids, Celeb parenting, Rumours, Latest news
Angelina Jolie is reportedly heading to Syria to adopt another child - which would be her seventh.
However apparently Brad Pitt isn't quite so keen on having another kid.
Reports say Angelina has gone out to the Middle East alone and Brad reckons six children are more than enough.
The Tomb Raider actress has three biological children with Brad - three-year-old Shiloh and 16-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
She adopted her son Maddox, eight, from Cambodia while still married to Billy Bob Thornton, and has two other adopted children, Zahara, four, and Pax, who is nearly five.
A source told OK! magazine: "[Brad] has made it clear that six children are more than he can handle.
"The idea of one more seemed ludicrous, but Angie is determined to complete her rainbow family."
Heidi Klum reveals she's struggling to lose her baby weight
It would appear that Heidi Klum is just like the rest of us when it comes to shifting that stubborn baby weight. She's recently admitted that she's struggling to lose the weight more this time around than with her previous pregnancies, and it seems to get harder as she gets older.
Heidi and husband Seal recently introduced baby daughter Lou to the world. This is Heidi's 4th child, and joins Helene, Henri and Johan in the Klum brood.
Heidi was quoted as saying "I wouldn't say I'm back in shape yet. Everything changes when you get older. It was different when I was 31 with the first one and now being 36 with the fourth one."
She's now determined to shift the baby weight, as she fears that if she leave the extra pounds there, they'll stick around for life!
Jennifer Aniston is considering having a baby alone, Katherine Heigl has adopted, and Colin Farrell is excited about being a dad
Babies, Pregnancy & birth, Celeb parenting, Latest news
Jennifer Aniston is thinking about using donor sperm to get pregnant, it has been reported.
The 40-year-old actress said she would consider artificial insemination - like the plot of her next movie "The Baster".
With Jen's track record with blokes, who could blame her?
When asked if she would consider the process, she said: "I'm ready for anything. Bring it on. I wouldn't rule anything out. It would not be my first choice though."
No. But her first choice ran off with Angelina Jolie.
Jennifer is currently rumoured to be dating Scottish actor Gerard Butler - perhaps she'll have more luck with him before she has to turn to the baster.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want their daughter to be an actress
Toddlers, Celeb kids, Celeb parenting, Latest news
Hollywood supercouple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt apparently want their daughter Shiloh to follow in their footsteps.
The pair are reported to be keen for her to become a movie star and are thinking about sending her to drama school when she is old enough.
How old is she now? Three years old and already her future is mapped out. Poor thing.
She's already appeared on screen with her father Brad in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" - which supposedly was a bit of a stinker. Maybe she needs to get herself a new agent.
But apparently Shiloh now has stars in her eyes and has told her mates she wants to be just like mummy and daddy. She's been reported as saying: "I want to do what mummy and daddy do."
Should I be worried if my child has an imaginary friend?
Fun & activities, Celeb kids, Celeb parenting, Behaviour
Imaginary friends are in the news right now, and they've even got their own acronym: IBF (Imaginary Best Friend).
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's toddler Shiloh is reported to spend much of her time with her IBF Amy.
The popular children's books and TV series Charlie and Lola feature Lola's IBF Soren Lorenson, who often gets blamed for Lola's mischief.
However, a new report claims that IBFs are actually on the decline, with the number of children claiming to have an IBF having reduced by over 36% in the last 20 years.
An imaginary friend can be a great way for a child to express themselves, so maybe we should all get like the Jolie-Pitts and start exercising our minds more.
Celebrity pregnancy news round-up: Nicole, Jennifer, Angelina and Gisele
The rumour mill has been working hard this week, with news that Nicole Kidman may be pregnant with her second child. Nicole gave birth to her first child, daughter Sunday Rose, last July. Her publicist is denying that she's pregnant again. What's more, the Daily Mail is reporting this week that Nicole and husband Keith Urban want to adopt a baby from Vietnam.
Nicole might want to have a chat with Angelina Jolie, who knows a thing or two about successful adoption.
You won't believe it, but a story has broken this week suggesting that Angelina was looking a 'little bit pregnant' on the set of her latest movie, Salt, this weekend. I'd imagine that after giving birth to twins she might just look a little bit pregnant all the time now.
Meanwhile, it seems that supermodel Gisele is not pregnant, according to football player husband Tom Brady. He's apparently said "one is enough", which is fine for him to say, but not so great for Gisele! Tom has a son with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
The Totally Honest Guide to Baby names - Celebrity baby A-list to Z-list
Babies, Celeb kids, Celeb parenting, Baby names
Celebrity baby names are a constant source of amusement, but that doesn't seem to stop them cropping up in playgroups near you. No sooner does an A-lister pick a fruit-based moniker than so do hordes of OK! readers. In typical controversial style, for this is the Totally Honest Guide To Baby Names, I thought it might be fun to spot the differing trends in baby names between the celebrity A-list, B-list and Z-list, and to speculate wildly on what impact those names will have in the nation's playgrounds. Disagree? Go on, add a comment...
Celebrity A-List
The trend: Spiritual, worldly, wise-sounding names that elevate the baby beyond the parents' profession, which, with the exception of Barack Obama on this list, could be considered to be mucking around in face paint.
Impact in the playground: The kids hanging around at the edges hoping not to get spotted. Until they're older that is, when they'll suddenly get cool.
