Coleen Rooney was out on the town this week - and it looks like she's lost her baby weight just two months after giving birth to her son Kai.

Apparently she's been on an intense exercise and diet regime since the birth. So who's been looking after the baby?

The wife of Wayne, the Man Utd and England football star, showed up at a fashion party wearing a skimpy silk dress, which clung to her figure, showing just how hard she's been working.

The 23-year-old was also wearing gold chandelier earrings and nude peeptoe heels, and instead of a nappy bag was carrying a pewter clutch bag.

She had previously said she was not planning on rushing into losing weight after the baby.

But it looks like somehow it just happened. Which it probably does if you hire a personal trainer.

So, shock horror, it looks like Coleen Rooney is snapping back into shape already after giving birth just a few weeks ago.

On her first night out with Wayne since their son Kai was born, she wore 6in Louboutin heels and a skimpy black dress.

It's a different world, isn't it? I didn't manage to go out with my husband until our daughter was over six months old, and skimpy black dresses were not on the agenda.

But wait - all is not lost. Some of Coleen's secrets have been revealed. So how do you get back into shape so quickly?

Well, it seems the first step is to be rich enough to hire a personal trainer. Coleen has been working out with Sheffield-based Elise Lindsay, who had her exercising until a few weeks before the birth.

Frankly, I'd rather keep the £1,000 and run the risk that my daughter's name means something bizarre in another language.

She's apparently opting for Liverpool Women's Hospital, rather than going private.

Good for her. It's a mystery why celebrities go private to give birth - it's still going to hurt just the same wherever you have it. Shelling out £5,000 is just going to add to the pain.

A source told the Mirror: "The midwives here can't wait to help her through the birth.

"It is a tremendous fillip for all the dedicated and hard-working staff. They are really proud of LWH and overjoyed Coleen has opted to support them and the NHS."

Other WAGs have gone private, with Victoria Beckham, Louise Redknapp and Frank Lampard's partner Elen Rives all opting for London's Portland Hospital.

Coleen and Wayne's baby is due on October 24, the same date as Manchester United and England football star Wayne's 24th birthday.

The couple hired a 4D ultrasound scanning machine for the bash at their Cheshire mansion so friends and family could witness the event.

The baby is due to be born at the end of September - but has already enjoyed its first social event.

A source told the Daily Mail: "Coleen and Wayne couldn't wait to show off baby Roo. The 4D scanning machines give a really clear picture.

"You can see all the baby's features and movements. You would even have been able to see if it's yawning or sticking its tongue out."
