Until Shiloh Jolie-Pitt appeared on the celebrity baby circuit, the mere mention of 'tomboys' conjured up images of George(ina) from the Famous Five or Blackadder's 'Bob'. But with Angelina Jolie going on the record to say she dresses four-year-old Shiloh 'Like a little dude,' and indulges her tomboy ways, is it finally OK for girls to ditch the pink and embrace their boyish side? And indeed for little boys to play with dolls and take ballet classes? Should childhood be more about unrestrained self expression and less about gender specifics?
"Yes," says Sally, mum to resolute tomboy, Felicity, four.
"Felicity wears a dress and blazer to school but underneath there will always be boys' superhero underwear," says Sally, "And it's only recently she has answered to Felicity – for nine months she was actually Aiden – in fact, her cousins still call her Aiden and think it's her name!"

A recent study by discount website MyVoucherCodes.co.uk has polled to find out which celebrity has the most stylish child. The poll put Suri Cruise, daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, at the top of the list. A controversial choice given the uproar caused by the heels and make up Suri has been seen out and about in.
Second in the list is Romeo Beckham, often seen dressing in a mini football kit like his famous dad. Maddox Jolie-Pitt comes in third place, no doubt down to his trendy Mohawk and super trendy parents (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie).
Madonna's daughter Lourdes makes it into the list this year, and you can definitely see where she gets her style from! Often seen in eighties inspired outfits and strings of pearls, the mini-diva is heading torward to being a style queen in her own right.
Sean Preston Spears makes it into 5th place, Junior Price (son of Katie Price) is 6th, and Brooklyn Beckham joins his brother in the list at number 7.

Suri Cruise is in trouble with the tabloids again - she's been spotted swigging from a baby bottle, at the age of NEARLY FOUR.
Apparently this look doesn't go well with the handbags and high heels. So she's in bother for crimes against fashion as well as failing to act her age.
The daughter of Hollywood superstars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who will be four years old on April 18, obviously ought to know better.
She was seen sucking on the baby bottle last week when visiting the Manhattan set of Holmes' new film "Son of No One".
I'm assuming it wasn't vodka or meths she was drinking but from the reaction it might as well have been.

The internet has been buzzing with rumours that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were expecting a second child - but the actress now says it's not true.
The supercouple already have a daughter, Suri, who is three.
But the whole media world appears to be on tenterhooks waiting for the titchy Mission Impossible star to become a father once again.
This time pictures of Holmes supposedly visiting a doctor's office sparked the rumours she was up the duff.
But it seems she wasn't even going to see a doctor - just visiting an Italian restaurant in the same building as a doctor's office in Los Angeles. Apparently she was just there to have dinner with her agents.
Her agent told the wildly overexcited press: "Katie is not pregnant."

Some parents have dressed their kids up, with a beehived mini "Amy Winehouse" and a guitar-strumming "Kurt Cobain".
There's also a Phil Mitchell, which seems like cheating. Most newborns look like Phil Mitchell.
Other finalists include former spice girls Mel B and Emma Bunton, and Tom Cruise's daughter Suri.

According to the gossip columns, the three-year-old won't eat with a knife and fork and her mum Katie Holmes has to take chopsticks with her everywhere she goes.
She's not going to get made fun of at school, is she? Talk about being born with a silver chopstick in your mouth...
